The third interactive exposition, with around 10, 000 visitors, which I worked on for DEPO2015, is dedicated to the topic of communication and writing. I was a part of the creative team and contributed to the whole concept and game design. I also individually designed the set design and then helped with the actual execution of some of the rooms and objects.

After the successful transformation of the BLIK BLIK Festival of Light into a digital playground, a series of interactive expositions was created under its brand. The Mysterious Forest is the first project. I participated in the project as a set designer of the whole exposition and creator of the object The Ant Colony, playing with light and shadow. The exposition was visited by close to 20,000 people.

Light design

The Up into the Clouds exposition is originally from the shop of the Sladovna in Pisek. For its move to DEPO2015, a number of modifications were designed to suit the new space better. One of the main ones was a new art piece, which I designed based on the theme of Icarus' fall and completely made myself. I also added a light design to the entire exposition. Up into the Clouds was visited by around 8,000 people.

The Industrial Trail is a project that has grown over the time. It started as an educational trail to introduce the history of the site to visitors of DEPO2015 using QR codes and short video clips. For the videos, I designed the artwork and made the props. With the arrival of covid, I expanded the educational trail with the production of DEPO2015 to include an interactive tracking game. I worked on all the game design, creating the quests, designing the character illustrations, and the epic finale of the light and sound boosted industrial room. You can still play the trail to this very day.

I created three escape games. Together with friends, we found a suitable space in a former civilian shelter for the games Dozimetric Tower and Chernobyl, which were based on the story of the Chernobyl nuclear accident. I participated in the creation of the game design, tasks and puzzles and then with the designed team, we provided the entire artistic and technical production of the games. Despite positive feedback, we were unable to reopen after the covid. The third game, Metro, is located in DEPO2015, where I was purely involved in the artwork and interior design.

FORGING

Interactive object for exposition of forging, 2021

Installation design

Production

For the permanent exposition of locksmithing at the National Technical Museum (NTM) in Plasy, I designed and created an object that illustrates different types of locks. Instead of a standard panel board, which I was asked to create by the NTM, I chose a fun form of a haunted castle and palace, where visitors discover ghosts through opening and testing locks.

According to the opinions of the visitors and the museum management, the exposition of Statics in the National Technical Museum (NTM) in Plasy is one of the best expositions that you can visit in the Centre of Construction and in the NTM. Compared to their other expositions, it is very playful. In this project, I worked not only on the artistic aspect as an illustrator, but also on the concept of the whole exposition. Thanks to this, I had the chance to influence the texts form, the design and graphic production of the exposition and even design some of the interactive models that were not originally intended for the exposition.

LIBERATION FESTIVAL

Studio for streaming composite programme, 2020 a 2021

Scenography

Light design

The Pilsen Liberation Festival could not take place in the traditional way during the covid. Therefore, the city of Pilsen in cooperation with the Silent Men Studio created a multi-day composite programme broadcast in 3 languages. For both years I designed scenes for different parts of the broadcast, full of both historical and custom-made props. I also contributed to the dramaturgy of the period feature scenes in 2021.

Graphic design

I collaborated with J. K. Tyl Theatre (DJKT) shops to produce the set for the musical Fun Home. Based on the sketch I made the technical documentation, graphic design and model of the set. Subsequently, I supervised the execution of the set in the theatre shops and then with the selected team produced all the objects and props in my own shop.

VARY ZÁŘÍ

light design

The production of the light festival Vary Září managed to make the closed building of the Post Courtyard in Karlovy Vary available for two days for a light performance by the art group Echt Street Puppets. However, the whole building and the yard needed a little help, so I designed the concept of the set to match the characters moving around the space. I created a large structure to hold the projection screens and prepared the dramaturgical light design. The festival had an attendance of around 30,000 people.

STREAMING STUDIOS

Scenography

Props production

During covid, I was involved in the creation of several sets for permanent streaming studios and live broadcasts. In addition to the large Liberation Festival (mentioned above), I've co-created a permanent, but variable scene, for the Silent Men Studio. In addition, I designed and produced sets for the awards ceremony for the Pilsen Region's medical staff and for the Pilsen's Christmas production. In the commercial sector, I created a runway for Hannah for the online presentation of a new collection and a streaming studio for corporate presentations for Certec company.

Scenography

The pop-culture festival CO.CON in Pilsen, which I founded in 2019, is inspired by the world's comic-cons. The dramaturgy of the festival is composed around computer games, cosplays, comics and board games with the goal of presenting big trends as well as student and local projects. In close collaboration with the creative centre DEPO2015, we have doubled the size of the festival in 2023 compared to the first edition. We try to attract visitors not only with games, but we also try to show young people what direction they can follow if they want to pursue one of the artistic fields. Compared to some cons, we are focusing on the visual overlap of the event. Not only do we incorporate light work and projection, but you can also come across art sculptures, designer costumes and other art throughout the venue.

Modelling

App script, dramaturgy

The work for Wheel Tug consisted of creating an e-learning program for pilots. I created 2D and 3D models and animations based on the actual technical drawings of the aircraft. The learning program included full scenes as well as details of the aircraft components to introduce the new technology and its applications. I further contributed to the development of the app scenario. In this project I was also in charge of leading the creative team involved in the development of the app.

Animations

For the industrial design atelier of Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art, I turned a student 3D model of an autonomous car into a 3D animation, which was presented at the Prague Design Week design show. Several ateliers were involved in the short video, we filmed with live actors in front of a green screen and then placed the footage into the 3D environment I modelled.
